BTS member Jin, also known as Kim Seokjin, has been spotted lending a helping hand to victims of the devastating wildfires in South Korea. On Thursday, April 3, Jin was seen volunteering in Gilan-myeon, Andong City, at Gilan Middle School, which has been designated as a relief center for those affected by the disaster. The singer was observed serving free meals to the victims. Despite attempting to maintain a low profile by wearing a black hat, mask and gray apron, Jin's eyes gave away his identity, earning him recognition and admiration from the locals.

Jin’s agency Bighit Music confirmed his involvement, stating, "I decided to participate in volunteer work because I wanted to provide even a small amount of help to those affected by the wildfires."

BTS member Jin volunteered at a meal service organized by Theborn Korea and chef Baek Jong-won, serving food to wildfire victims and aid workers. This act is part of BTS' broader relief efforts, with members donating substantial amounts to the relief fund.

BTS' Reunion Delayed?

HYBE CEO Lee Jae Sang shared some insight into the highly anticipated reunion of the Kpop sensation BTS. As fans eagerly await the return of their beloved group, the CEO's statement comes as a slight clarification on the timeline of their comeback. Currently, several members of the group, including Suga, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook, are in the midst of serving their mandatory military tenure, a requirement for all able-bodied Korean citizens.

According to Koreaboo, HYBE said during a press conference, “The BTS members are set to complete their military service by the end of the first half of this year, and they will need time for preparation and production before resuming activities. The company is also preparing by discussing with top-tier composers, but the artists (BTS members) themselves need time for deliberation and preparation.”

“Typically, the process involves working on songs, releasing an album, and then going on tour. However, since BTS has already risen to the level of global top artists, they are continuously discussing their vision and their 'next' phase. It is necessary to consider and align with this direction carefully,” HYBE added.
