BTS' Jungkook And DJ Alesso Release Seven Remix: The junior member of South Korea's renowned boy band BTS, Jungkook, sent his fans into a frenzy with the reimagined version of his inaugural solo track 'Seven (ft. Latto)'. As soon as the lyrical remix was unveiled, fans began expressing their overwhelming appreciation on the internet. The fact that 'Seven - Alesso's Remix' entered the Melon Hot 100 chart at the 85th position is truly remarkable, especially considering that the 'Seven - Clean version' still holds its ground at the top spot. Alesso, upon hearing the composition, shared his thoughts by leaving a comment on the official lyrical video on YouTube. His comment read, "What an honor to do this remix. Thank you to everyone for listening."

The moment the remix was released online, the devoted BTS Army rallied to support their idol with overflowing praise and respect. One fan expressed on Twitter, "He's back New Remix out now!!! This collaborative track emerged in response to allegations of plagiarism on August 22. Yang Joon Young, a notable K-pop producer in South Korea, pointed out resemblances between 'Seven' and his composed song, Fin KL's 'Time of Mask.'

The allegations triggered an internet dispute, leading online users to draw comparisons between the two tracks. However, Jungkook's agency swiftly refuted all accusations. As reported by Soompi, "Big Hit Music said that the track is 'completely unrelated to the song on a domestic album from 24 years ago.'"

A report alleged that a significant segment of Jungkook's song 'Seven' resembled the composition of Fin KL's 'Time of Mask,' released in 2023. Citing a statement from Big Hit Entertainment, Soompi reported that the claims of copyright infringement concerning 'Seven' by Jungkook are unfounded.

The statement further read, "Seven is a song that was made through the collaboration of five foreign composers, and it is a creation that is completely unrelated to the song on a domestic album from 24 years ago like some are claiming. They are one-sided claims that do not meet any criteria such as substantial similarity and principles in determining plagiarism."
