BTS Jungkook And Jimin Military Service: BTS members Jungkook and Jimin have officially begun their military service today. Their fans are feeling emotional as both singers will return in 2025 and have sent their best wishes to both Jungkook and Jimin for their new journey. Jungkook and Jimin also went live on Weverse separately a day before to interact with their fans and were feeling emotional as they said goodbye. The official X page of BTS posted pictures of Jungkook and Jimin posing with Jhope and Suga, proudly showing off their new look.

In the pictures, Jungkook and Jimin can be seen flaunting their shaved head as they cheerfully pose with Jhope and Suga. In another photo, the duo can be seen touching each other's head while flaunting the buzz cut. Jhope shared some pictures on his Instagram and said that the time is flying.

According to the local South Korean news outlets, other BTS members except RM and V have arrived to say goodbye to Jungkook and Jimin.  

During the live, Jimin showed off his shaved head as well despite feeling a little shy and emotional.

Jungkook became emotional while talking to fans and was holding back his tears.

Before Jungkook and Jimin, V and RM enlisted in the military on December 11. V also wrote a heartfelt note for his fans and expressed his love and admiration for his fans ahead of starting his military service. He wrote on Weverse, "I think I'm going to miss you so much. To be honest, it's a real shame that I can't have any more happy memories with ARMYs for some time, if it wasn't for that one thing it would be okay, but not being able to see ARMYs is the hardest. For a long time that is 18 months, I will become really healthy and come back so ARMYs, please take care of your health too. and if day by day you find things to be happy about, I'll appear once again like 'tada! I'm here!'. and also I have prepared various things for during those 18 months so please look forward to it."

He earlier assured his fans about his decision to enlist in the Special Duty Team, an anti-terrorism unit directly under the supervision of the Blue House and said that he wanted to challenge himself. Addressing the concern of his fans, V said, "There were articles coming out about the unit I will be enlisting. ARMYs were worried, but honestly, I just wanted to challenge myself by going there and because I have goals. So please do not worry too much. I am challenging myself, but I also know how to deflect when needed. I shall return healthy and not get hurt. I’m a little bit scared of rappels, but… just please trust me."

Jin, Jhope and Suga, who are currently serving in the military, came to say their goodbyes to V and RM.
