Jungkook's single 'Seven' got into controversy after it was accused of borrowing the same scale sequence as Fin.K.L’s song 'Time of Mask'. BTS' agency BigHit Music responded to the accusations and claimed that these allegations were false.

"We would like to reveal that allegations claiming Jungkook’s Seven was plagiarized are false. Seven was made through a collaboration of five international producers and has no relation to the song that is part of a domestic album from 24 years ago. The allegations are one-sided, and the song does not meet any criteria that are used for judging plagiarism,” the statement reads.

Before releasing 'Seven', Jungkook released two of his solo songs 'Still With You' and 'My You' on Spotify.
