BTS member Jungkook is one of the most popular pop stars in the world and is currently on a hiatus to proceed with his mandatory military service. Despite his absence from the limelight, the singer never fails to grab the headlines. He is currently trending on social media after it was announced that Jungkook has officially been promoted to full member of the prestigious Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA).

Apart from Jungkook, (G)I-DLE's Soyeon has also become a member of KOMCA. For the unversed, an artist has to earn at least 30 million won per year in royalties, be a junior member for a minimum of three years and get the approval of the boards of directors to become a full member of KOMCA.

On the work front, Jungkook released his solo singles 'Seven' and '3D' in collaboration with American rappers Latto and Jack Harlow respectively. Both the songs instantly became chartbusters and were in the top 10 in Billboard charts for several days.

He also released his solo album 'Golden', which became a huge hit. Talking about 'Golden', the album will feature a total of 11 tracks including the singles 'Seven (feat. Latto)' and '3D (feat. Jack Harlow).' Announcing Jungkook's album, BigHit Music said, "Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. We are excited to announce the release of BTS member Jung Kook’s solo album ‘GOLDEN.’ ‘GOLDEN’ is an album inspired by the golden moments of Jung Kook, the golden maknae of BTS and a solo artist.”

He also conducted a concert for his fans ahead of his enlistment. Revealing the details about the concert, BigHit Music said in a statement, "Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. We are excited to announce Jungkook’s “GOLDEN” Live On Stage with the fans on Monday, November 20, 2023, celebrating the release of Jungkook’s solo album, GOLDEN."

Jungkook has completed his training in the military and has graduated as well along with Jimin.
