BTS Jungkook and Jimin were the last two BTS members to enrol in the mandatory military service last year. Soon after JK shaved his head for the military, he flaunted the new buzz cut in front of his friend Jimin whose reaction earned the hearts of the fans once again. Recently, Jungkook's documentary I AM STILL released and videos from the same have been going viral on the internet. In one of the videos, Jungkook can be seen showing his shaved head to Jimin who cannot stop gushing over the new look. He hugged Jungkook and caressed his head. Their sweet interaction melted the hearts of their army. At the end of the video, Jungkook can be seen giving a military salute as Jimin says 'You look like a soldier'.

BTS Jungkook and Jimin's video earned many reactions from fans. A user said, “JIMIN HUGGING JUNGKOOK AND CARESSING HIS HEAD.” A fan said, “the level of their relationship: after recording Jungkook immediately rushed to Jimin to show his haircutJimin dropped everything to stroke and hug Jungkook and say nice words. they.. #jikook #kookmin #JiminxJungKook.” 

A tweet read, “Jungkook came to show Jimin his buzz cut right after he finished recording! AND JUNGKOOK DECIDED TO LET JIMIN APPEAR AT THE END OF HIS FILM BECAUSE THEY MADE THE NEXT STEP TOGETHER! AT THE END IT‘S ALWAYS JIKOOK. THEY DECIDED TO STAY TOGETHER.” 

Another tweet read, “This longer version of Jungkook showing Jimin his shaved head, and Jimin swooning over him, is even more devastating.” A fan wrote, “JUNGKOOK WAS LEANING WITH HIS HEAD ONTO JIMIN‘S SHOULDER WHILE HE WAS CARESSING HIM.” 

Talking about the origin of the video, it is from Jungkook’s documentary movie I Am Still. The film was released in theatres on September 18. The movie will be released in India on limited screens on September 21.  

BTS Jimin and Jungkook joined the military service on the same day in 'Buddy' programme on December 13, 2023. They will be discharged from the military in June 2025. Apart from Jungkook: I Am Still, they are currently seen in the popular travel show Are You Sure?! on Disney + Hotstar. The show started on August 8, 2024, and the final episode (8) will stream on September 19.
