BTS and BLACKPINK are some of the most popular K-pop groups in the world and have a huge fan following. It is a dream of many K-pop fans to see the two groups collaborating with each other. Fans were surprised when BTS member Jungkook gave an indirect shoutout to BLACKPINK's Jennie. Jungkook was recently promoting his album 'Golden' with the music streaming app Spotify and was asked about his favourite K-pop song. While looking at the list, Jungkook took the names of his colleagues like TXT and SEVENTEEN along with Jennie's song 'You & Me'.
For the unversed, Jennie recently released her solo song 'You & Me', which became a huge hit. Both Jungkook and Jennie are also the global brand ambassadors of the fashion brand Calvin Klien and have been seen at several events together.

This is not the first time Jungkook and Jennie have come together for an event or a project. Jennie earlier organised an event with Calvin Klein in Seoul which was attended by several celebrities including Jungkook. A video of the two interacting with each other went viral on social media and fans couldn't keep calm.
On the work front, Jennie earlier released her song 'One Of The Girls' for her show 'The Idol' and collaborated with The Weekend and Lily Rose-Depp for the song. 'The Idol' premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and Jennie also made her Cannes debut with 'The Idol' star cast. She said, "It’s overwhelming, but I’m grateful and thankful. All of those things at the same time. Especially as it’s the first step in my acting career, I was honoured to be able to come.”
She added, “It was an opportunity to just be myself and be brave. I didn’t really train for it, or prep anything...Sam wanted me to just be myself.”
Jungkook released the music video for his song 'Standing Next To You', which is the first track from his album 'Golden'.
