BTS Jungkook and Jimin are currently serving in the military and will return to citizen life and showbiz in 2025. The two keep BTS ARMY updated about their well-being even as they are in the mandatory service and recently, both kpop idols were seen posing with fellow soldiers. Jimin and Jungkook were seen standing in the corners as they posed with their military group and it shows that the two share a good bond with everyone.

Jungkook is seen hugging his fellow soldier and smiling as he flaunts his tattooed arm. Jimin is seen giving a stern look as he poses with everyone.

On the work front, both Jungkook and Jimin are currently seen together in the variety show 'Are You Sure?' and its first episode is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. 'Are You Sure?' is a travel series in which Jungkook and Jimin will explore different regions around the world. They will visit New York in the United States, Jeju Island in South Korea, and Sapporo in Japan.

Jungkook earlier released his solo album 'Golden', which has several songs including 'Closer To You', 'Standing Next To You', 'Yes or No', 'Please Don't Change', 'Somebody', 'Shot Glass of Tears', 'Hate You' and 'Too Sad to Dance'. He also released his two solo singles named '3D' and 'Seven'. For 'Seven', he teamed up with the American rapper Latto. He collaborated with Jack Harlow on the song '3D'. He has announced his movie 'I am Still' and not much has been revealed about the project.

Jimin released his new single 'Closer Than This'. Announcing the news, BigHit Music said in a statement, "Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. We are excited to announce the release of BTS member Jimin’s digital single, Closer Than This. Closer Than This is a heartfelt fan song that encapsulates Jimin’s genuine feelings for ARMY. As we approach the final days of 2023, we hope that Closer Than This, with its lyrics conveying Jimin’s love and affection for his fans, will bring you hope and warmth.”

Jimin also released his new album 'Muse' and teamed up with several artists including American actress-singer Sofia Carson and Loco. The songs are 'Slow Dance', 'Smeraldo Garden Marching Band', 'Rebirth (INTRO)', 'Interlude: Showtime', 'Be Mine', 'WHO' and 'Close Than This'.
