JE Entertainment Desk: The members of the K-pop group, BTS, are currently on a hiatus to focus on their solo albums and move forward with their military enlistment. Jin, Jimin, RM, J-Hope and Suga have already released their solo album and it is now Jungkook's turn. The singer earlier announced that he is working on his solo album and an official announcement will be made soon.
As per recent reports, Jungkook's album will have a pop feel with RnB added to it. Music critic Kim Young Dae got a chance to pre-listen to a few songs from Jungkook’s upcoming album and he was all praise for Jungkook's talent.
He said that Jungkook's vocal tone is one of the ‘trendiest’ among the BTS members and this is something he sees in the Top 40 hits in the US. He further revealed that Jungkook's were akin to those of American pop stars that are hot and popular.

According to a report by Sports Chosun, as cited by Soompi, Jungkook is preparing to release his new solo album on July 14. The report also mentions that the album will feature a song in English. Soompi later shared a statement from BigHit, stating, "We will provide an official announcement once the release schedule for Jungkook's solo album has been confirmed."
Meanwhile, Jungkook has created the record for the fastest K-pop soloist to reach 1 Billion streams on Spotify. According to Guinness World Records, Jungkook made this record on March 27, 2023, with three songs under his credits including ‘Stay Alive’, ‘Left and Right’ (with Charlie Puth, plus two remixes and one instrumental version of the track) and ‘Dreamers’ (the 2022 FIFA World Cup). He made this record within 409 days.
His record is just two days faster than BLACKPINK rapper Lisa, who made this record on October 26, 2022. Jungkook made his debut on Spotify as a solo artist with his song 'Stay Alive' on February 11, 2022.
BTS will celebrate their 10th anniversary this year and Jungkook will host the ‘BTS 10th Anniversary Fireworks Show’ from 8:30 pm to 9:00 pm KST on June 17.
