BTS Jungkook is one of the most popular K-Pop idols in the world and enjoys a healthy fan-following globally. The singer is currently in the limelight with the recent release of his solo debut track 'SEVEN' which gained immense appreciation worldwide from his fans.

The BTS member is highly fond of interacting with his fans and is often seen conducting live sessions on Weverse. In his recent live video, Jungkook opened up about his religion for the first time. The BTS members rarely share their personal lives with their fans. He disclosed that one could find references of his religion through his songs including 'Blood Sweat & Tears.'

Jungkook attended the faith-based school, the School of Performing Arts in Seoul. The official website of the school states, "South Korea's first and only Christian-based high school with special purposes in performing arts." The school includes mandatory service of attending the Bible-teaching class once a week.

In several viral videos, BTS ARMY has noticed Jungkook praying before his meals. This isn't exclusive to Christianity, however most Christians do it. The singer has also covered a plethora of Christmas songs over the years including, 'O Holy Night' and several others.

During the Chuseok greeting, Jungkook appeared to pray like a Buddhist and has also been seen visiting the Buddhist temple Ganghwa Bomunsa. In his latest live session, he revealed that he is not religious, since he was never pressurized. However, he shared that his mother follows Christianity, but his father's family believes in Buddhism.

According to a report in KoreaBoo.com, during his live session he said, "I don't have a religion. My father's side is Christian, and my mother's side is Buddhist. But for us (children/younger generations)… We don't really have religions. There wasn't any pressure for us to have a religion, either. Therefore, I don't have a religion."

The singer appears to follow some practices and is often captured doing the same, but he is just non-denominational in the matter of faith and religion.
