IU has collaborated with BTS members and they share a great bond. The singer recently collaborated with V aka Kim Taehyung for her single 'Love Wins All'. Talking about why he agreed to do the music video, V said, "As I was preparing my solo album, I didn't have much time. So, I promised ARMY that I'd shoot a drama or a film but I couldn't do that. So, it was a shame and I was upset for not being able to do what ARMY would've wished to see. I'm trying to leave as much stuff before I leave (for the military). So, I think they'll be able to see some fun stuff while waiting."
The song earlier received criticism from sexual minorities over its title as LGBTQIA individuals shared their concerns over the use of 'Love Wins'. Some netizens expressed that the phrase 'Love Wins' is a pride parade slogan and the song might reduce the meaning behind the phrase by showing heterosexual relationships.
IU earlier teamed up with Suga for the latter's album 'D-Day'. Earlier, Jhope also appeared on IU's talk show 'Pallete'.
