BTS RM aka Kim Nam-joon assured fans that the popular K-pop group will return in 2025 after completing their military service in South Korea. The singer shared his thoughts on the hiatus of the band and shed light on his solo projects during a live stream on Weverse, available on YouTube. RM read a letter and a song from an ARMY member during the live stream and expressed how much it meant to the band as they are waiting for their comeback in 2025.

The BTS frontman revealed that Suga had also talked about the love they received from the BTS ARMY who are 'waiting for the reunion in 2025.' According to a report in the Hindustan Times, RM said, "I definitely feel that … And what I'm thinking right now is, these days, when I'm doing my solo projects, is, this is just like a vacation to get back to where I was, which was BTS and ARMY."

He continued, "So, all the solo [work] is just a journey, but it is a very important journey for chapter two. It's a journey to get back home safe, eventually, when we get back and reunite together in 2025. This is a greatness of love … When I face this kind of love, I feel like it's irresistible, and that's what makes me go through all those trials and hardships and shit happening in life."

The 28-year-old thanked the fans for their constant love and support. BTS announced their hiatus in 2022, which is common for male K-pop groups of their age due to the mandatory military service in South Korea.

Since then, two members of the group have already started their service i.e. J-Hope and Jin, while Suga has recently begun the enlistment process. Meanwhile, other members of the group have been working on their solo projects. Recently, V released two songs marking his solo debut titled, 'Rainy Days' and 'Love Me Again' from his upcoming solo album 'Layover' which will be out on September 8.
