BTS's leader, Kim Namjoon, popularly known as RM, recently surprised fans with a special update on his military service. Taking to his Instagram handle, RM shared a group photo featuring himself alongside his military comrades. The picture, shared on March 22, captured a moment of camaraderie as they posed together.

This update comes after a previous viral picture of RM in a red military band uniform, holding a saxophone. The recent group photo was from a ceremony that is typically reserved for soldiers' close family members or pre-registered friends. The caption of the picture indicated that it was received from an acquaintance who attended the military's basic training completion ceremony.

Ahead of his enlistment, RM had touched the hearts of fans with his emotional messages about BTS's reunion in 2025. He expressed his anticipation for the big reunion, stating, "Eventually, when we get back and reunite in 2025, (we will) be back for sure. We’ll be joining together again. And that will be in 2025." He also reflected on their solo activities, likening them to a vacation and emphasizing that the journey is crucial for the next chapter but ultimately leads back to BTS and ARMY.

RM, along with BTS member Kim Taehyung, known as V, enlisted in the military on December 11, 2023. RM's discharge date is set for June 6, 2025, aligning with BTS's expected reunion as a group. Whereas, BTS Jin and Jhope return from the military in 2024. Fans eagerly await their return, looking forward to the continuation of BTS's journey together.
