BTS has added another milestone to their impressive list of achievements, securing the 19th position on Billboard’s ‘Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century’ list. This recognition places them among the biggest names in global pop music, as the only Kpop act to achieve such a feat. Released on September 10, 2024, Billboard praised the group for breaking boundaries, redefining what it means to be a successful pop act, and creating a global movement through their message of positivity and connection.

Billboard highlighted BTS’s ability to transcend genres and barriers, earning six Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles and six No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200. The publication credited BTS for setting a new standard, comparing their success to that of The Beatles and emphasizing how they reshaped Kpop and the global music scene.

The news thrilled ARMY, BTS' loyal fanbase, who quickly flooded social media with congratulations. Fans expressed pride in BTS’s influence and the impact they've made, not just in music but as cultural icons. One fan shared, "BTS truly paved the way, breaking barriers and inspiring a global community!"

BTS debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment and consists of seven members: RM, Jin, Suga, Jhope, Jimin, V and Jungkook. Over the years, they have released hits such as Dynamite, Butter and My Universe (with Coldplay), solidifying their place in pop history. Although the members are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service, BTS is expected to reunite in 2025, with fans already anticipating a world tour.
