BTS Suga Begins Three-Week Basic Military Training At Nonsan Training Center

BTS Suga Military Update: BTS member Suga, also known as Min Yoongi, on March 28, took a significant step in fulfilling his mandatory military service by commencing his three-week basic military training at the Nonsan Training Center. This marks an important milestone in SUGA's service obligations, following his initial enlistment as a public service worker in September 2023.

Unlike the traditional enlistment path, where recruits undergo basic training before assuming their designated roles, SUGA strategically chose to begin his service as a public service worker before completing his basic training. This decision was made possible by current enlistment regulations, which allow enlistees to select this route based on their preferences or circumstances.

Starting his military service as a public service worker provided SUGA with several advantages. It allowed him to secure his designated position without the uncertainty associated with the random assignment process that often accompanies basic training.
