BTS SWIM Music Video Out: The wait is finally over for the global music community as BTS officially released their fifth studio album, ARIRANG, today, March 20, 2026. The highly anticipated comeback is led by the title track SWIM, a moving anthem about resilience and the journey of self-discovery. Accompanying the digital release is a cinematic music video filmed in the picturesque city of Lisbon, Portugal, which has already sent social media into a frenzy.
In a surprising and stylish move, the music video stars American actress Lili Reinhart as the lead protagonist. Set against the backdrop of a maritime museum and the coastal beauty of Portugal, the narrative follows Reinhart as a woman searching for a lost connection. As she wanders through the exhibits, the BTS members RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook appear as ethereal figures, representing different facets of her memories and the journey of life.
The symbolism of the video is centered around a ship named ARIRANG. The members take on the roles of voyagers, guiding the audience through the emotional highs and lows of being lost and found. Fans have praised the high production value and the romantic, serenade-like quality of the track, which marks the group's first major musical project as a full ensemble in four years.

This performance is expected to be a massive cultural moment, blending modern Kpop with traditional Korean heritage.

For fans unable to make it to Seoul, the event will be accessible worldwide. The showcase will be broadcast on Netflix via the BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE livestream at 8 pm KST (4:30 pm IST). With a massive world tour scheduled to begin on April 9, the group's schedule is packed. Early reactions from the ARMY fanbase have been overwhelmingly positive, with many already declaring the track the "Song of the year" and celebrating the emotional depth of the lyrics.
