BTS member V aka Kim Taehyung is currently on a hiatus to complete his mandatory military service. Despite his short absence from the limelight, the singer-dancer has been hitting the headlines due to the release of his digital single 'FRI(END)S'. The song has already become a chartbuster within a few days of its release and has been receiving praise for its intriguing music video. The song also featured an Indian couple, who spilt some beans on their interaction with V at the set.

Shaila Khan and her husband Shaz Khan featured in the music video of V's song 'FRI(END)S and revealed that they talked to V about the huge fan following of BTS in India. The couple further revealed that V asked them about the local cuisine of India and they recommended him to try pani puri.

V was earlier in the news as he achieved a new milestone by getting over 300 million streams on Spotify for all four solo songs. V made his solo debut with his album 'Layover' and released two songs from the album. 'Love Me Again' and 'Slow Dancing' are part of V's album 'Layover'. The other songs which crossed 300 million streams are - 'Christmas Tree' and 'Sweet Night', which have been made for Kdramas.

Talking about V's album, 'Layover' has six songs: 'For You', 'Blue', 'Slow Dancing', 'Rainy Days', 'Love Me Again' and 'Slow Dancing (Piano Version). BigHit Music released an official statement on Weverse and said, "Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. Layover consists of six tracks in total – five tracks and a bonus track. To fully appreciate the album’s flow, we recommend listening to it in sequence from start to finish."

"The music videos for all five tracks will also be revealed. V will showcase amazing new performances and make various appearances alongside the album’s release. Please stay tuned and continue to support V as he embarks on his new solo journey," BigHit Music added.

On the work front, V teamed up with IU for the latter's music video 'Love Wins All'.
