When BTS' Bang Bang Con: The Live set Guinness World Record: BTS made history by achieving an all new Guinness World Record title for the most viewers for a music concert live stream. On June 14, 2020, over 756,000 fans from over 100 countries tuned in to the online performance, which featured a captivating 12-song setlist and intimate conversations between the seven band members. 

Broadcast live from Seoul, South Korea, the virtual concert served as a substitute for a live performance, adhering to global lockdown restrictions at the time. During the stream, fans were treated to a unique glimpse of the group's camaraderie- V, Jungkook, Jimin, Jhope, Jin, Suga and RM, as they relaxed on a sofa, engaging in casual conversations.

This groundbreaking event, known as Bang Bang Con: The Live, solidified BTS' reputation as trailblazers in the music industry, demonstrating their ability to connect with a vast global audience despite physical distancing measures.

According to Bighit Entertainment, the esteemed agency behind the Kpop phenomenon, BTS' Bang Bang Con: The Live officially secured its place in history as the world's largest paid online music event, boasting an unprecedented number of viewers. The staggering audience size was equivalent to the combined capacity of 15 sold-out stadium concerts, a testament to the group's unparalleled global appeal and digital influence.

The historic livestream concert was accessible exclusively through WeVerse, a popular South Korean app and website, with tickets priced at $25. Held in celebration of BTS's 7th anniversary and preceding the release of their fourth Japanese-language album, Map of the Soul: 7 - The Journey, the highly-anticipated event featured captivating performances of beloved hits, including Boy With Luv and Just One Day.

It is pertinent to note that the Guinness World Records recognises BTS for several achievements: the first Kpop group to reach number one on the US album chart, South Korea's best-selling album, and the most Twitter engagements.
