BTS member V aka Kim Taehyung is currently serving in the military but curated several projects for fans despite his absence from showbiz. He made his much-awaited solo album debut with 'Layover' and all the songs from the album became chartbusters. He has achieved several milestones in his career but with 'Layover', the singer got to new heights. V's album 'Layover' is currently leading the iTunes chart and fans have extended their heartfelt congratulations.

'Layover' is at No.1 on iTunes in over 100 countries worldwide. This news came out on the day of V's 11th debut anniversary.

'Layover' has six songs: 'For You', 'Blue', 'Slow Dancing', 'Rainy Days', 'Love Me Again' and 'Slow Dancing (Piano Version). BigHit Music released an official statement on Weverse and said, "Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. Layover consists of six tracks in total – five tracks and a bonus track. To fully appreciate the al2bum’s flow, we recommend listening to it in sequence from start to finish."

"The music videos for all five tracks will also be revealed. V will showcase amazing new performances and make various appearances alongside the album’s release. Please stay tuned and continue to support V as he embarks on his new solo journey," BigHit Music added.

V was earlier in the news after he won The Fact Music Awards in the seasonal Best Music category for his latest song 'FRI(END)S'. This is the second time V has been honoured with The Fact Music award as he earlier won the Best Music Fall award in 2023. Kim Taehyung has become the first and only Korean soloist to receive the Best Music category award at the Face Music Award.

On the work front, V teamed up with Kpop idol actress IU for her single 'Love Wins All' and starred in the music video. He released his single 'FRI(END)S, which became a huge hit.
