BTS' V Performs Jazz With Mystery Songstress: BTS' Kim Taehyung, also known as V, has finally offered a sneak peek of his Paris trip. The talented vocalist from the renowned South Korean supergroup has released a captivating 7-minute video showcasing his live performance at a jazz club. The footage, titled 'Le Jazz De V,' was shared on social media by BigHit Music.

V, known for his deep and angelic voice, mesmerised fans by singing 'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas' while dressed in a white shirt adorned with a bow-detailed scarf and pants. His rendition became an instant hit, receiving praise from fans on social media.

Additionally, V showcased his musical versatility by performing a duet with Minna Seo on the timeless song 'Cheek to Cheek' by Fred Astaire. This beautiful performance is enough to captivate music lovers.

However, apart from V's captivating baritone, fans were also pleasantly taken aback by the addition of a sweet female voice in the second song. Who Is Minna Seo?

Minna Seo, the female vocalist who performed in 'Le Jazz de V,' is a 20-year-old singer based in South Korea. In 2022, she gained recognition through her participation in a reality survival show titled 'Stars Awakening'.

This show was a collaborative effort between Channel A in Korea and ABEMA in Japan. Airing every Thursday at 10:00 pm KST on Channel A and ABEMA, 'Stars Awakening' categorised its contestants into three groups: idols, singer-songwriters, and vocalists. Minna joined the show as a vocalist, competing against fellow contestants within her category as well as across the other categories.

Around a year ago, the singer began sharing live cover performances on YouTube, focusing predominantly on the genre of Jazz. Last year, she successfully organised several solo Jazz concerts in Seoul, culminating in a remarkable sold-out performance at the Lotte Concert Hall in September. During this show, she astounded an audience of thousands with her flawless rendition of โ€˜Cheek to Cheek.โ€™

The collaboration in โ€˜Le Jazz de Vโ€™ marks not the first, but another instance where this talented young artist has collaborated with the BTS member. Previously, she was credited for her contributions in the background vocals for V's cover of "It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas" in last December.

Although the exact details of how this emerging talent became connected to global superstar V remains unknown, some fans have noticed a few connections between the two singers through mutual acquaintances in the music industry.

BTS's longstanding producer Docskim follows Minna on Instagram, indicating a potential link between them. Additionally, Minna is also followed by Hyesung, who collaborated with V on his cover of Bing Crosby's song.
