BTS member V aka Kim Taehyung has created a lot of hype about his solo album among his fans. There were a lot of speculations regarding V's collaboration with different artists and the singer has now officially confirmed that he will team up with NewJeans' producer Min Hee Jin. According to BigHit Music, Min Hee Jin will lead the overall production of the album including the music, choreography, design, and promotion.

Talking about working with V, Min Hee Jin revealed that she was initially hesitant to take the offer. "I received an offer at the end of last year. I hesitated at first due to the schedule, but I was intrigued by V’s attitude and passion as well as his voice tone, which I wasn’t familiar with. This time, I want [listeners] to focus on the music. We prepared music that reflects V’s preferences while simultaneously is music that I want to recommend. Rather than a familiar style, we placed focus on music that we want to make and music that we can pull off well. We were terribly busy, but I think an interesting production emerged,” she said as quoted by Soompi.

V also talked about his feeling about releasing his first-ever solo album. He said, "I’m nervous but happy. It’s an album that captures my tastes. There will be abundant spectacles. I prepared while thinking that ARMY will be happy, so I hope you can anticipate it. I think you will be able to see a new side of solo artist V that is different from BTS’s V.”

Earlier, music critic Kim Young Dae talked about V's album during his 2023 ACC Lecture. He did not reveal many details about V's album but said that fans will be surprised.

According to Koreaboo, Kim Young Dae said, "Because of the label, I can’t give you specifics. But I think you’ll be surprised. I think it’s safe to say this is a re-discovery of V as a vocalist. Of course, V’s signature colours are there, but you might be surprised how he uses them."

He added, "First, the music is really good. V has a charismatic voice, but in BTS songs, he is often given a particular role. On this album, he was given more freedom. It’s very natural.”

On the work front, V was last seen in a variety show 'Jinny's Kitchen' along with popular actors Park Seo-joon and Choi Woo-Shik. He has also been announced as the global brand ambassador of 'Cartier'.
