In an interview with News Pinch, Madhav Gopal Agrawal stated that he initially met Rajpal Yadav through MP Mithilesh Kumar Katheria. According to him, Rajpal Yadav said that his movie was almost finished but needed funding to avoid losses. Initially, the businessman did not want to lend any money. However, he stated that Rajpal Yadav and his wife, Radha, emotionally appealed to him.

He eventually agreed and lent Rs 5 crore to Rajpal Yadav through his company, M/s Murali Projects Pvt Ltd. He made it clear that it was a loan, not an investment, and that Rajpal Yadav personally guaranteed the repayment of the loan on time, regardless of whether the movie would be a success or a failure.
