India's long-anticipated moment has arrived as the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched the highly anticipated Chandrayaan-3 mission to the Moon on July 14. Taking off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, India's Chandrayaan-3 aims to accomplish a significant milestone by becoming the fourth nation to achieve a spacecraft landing on the lunar surface, thereby showcasing the country's prowess in executing safe and precise landings on the Moon.
 
The remarkable achievement received widespread acclaim, with Bollywood celebrities among those expressing their appreciation. Numerous stars shared their joy and pride on social media platforms, joining in the celebration of this momentous occasion that has instilled a sense of national pride.
 
Sidharth Malhotra took to his Twitter account and wrote, "Congratulations @isro for a spectacular launch for #Chandrayaan3 today! A proud moment for us all." Sonu Sood also expressed his happiness and wrote, "History Created.. proud moment for every Indians #Chandrayaan3." 

Madhur Bhandarkar wrote, "With #Chandrayaan3, India takes flight to leave its imprint on the moon! Soaring high, scaling new heights, and creating history alongside, we unravel the moon's mysteries and push the boundaries of scientific discovery. #IndiaInSpace #ChandrayaanMission."

Kunal Kapoor wrote, "Such a historic moment Congratulations to all our brilliant scientists, engineers, and technicians who have made this possible. All the best #Chandrayaan3." 

Shekhar Kapur also took to his social media account and wrote, "It’s the next frontier. The Nations that conquer #Space will be the next great powers. As an Indian I am so proud of @isro and the #Chandrayaan3 mission as it gets ready for launch. Godspeed and looking forward to the launch."

The Independent reported that India successfully launched a rocket with a mission to land a rover at the Moon’s south pole. It also called India’s lunar mission a ‘signal’ of its arrival as a space power.
