Chandu Champion Trailer Out: The trailer for Kartik Aaryan's highly-anticipated sports drama, directed by Kabir Khan, was finally released on May 17 at a special trailer launch event held in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The trailer showcases Aaryan in an unprecedentedly fierce role, portraying the story of a real-life warrior who refused to surrender under any circumstances.
The trailer is a captivating blend of emotions, action and a glimpse of the largest war sequence ever seen. It showcases the extraordinary journey of a man who refuses to give up and is peppered with heartwarming moments. Kartik Aaryan's remarkable transformation into a soldier, boxer and wrestler reflects his dedication and commitment, building anticipation for its theatrical release on June 14th, 2024.
Earlier today, Kartik flew to Gwalior for an event where the trailer would be launched. This comes in the wake of the tragic passing of his maternal uncle and aunt, Manoj Chansoria and Anita Chansoria, who died in a hoarding crash in Mumbai on May 13. The accident claimed the lives of 16 others as well. Kartik was present at their funeral in Mumbai.

Kartik Aaryan fans were in for a surprise as the actor dropped new posters of the movie recently. The highly anticipated movie showcases Kartik in a fierce new look, donning boxing gloves, which has already captivated fans on social media.
In one of the posters, Kartik Aaryan is seen flaunting his chiselled physique and six-pack abs inside a boxing ring. The black-and-white image reveals a side of the actor that fans have never seen before, intensifying the excitement for the film’s release. The tagline of the poster reads, "In the ring of life, you have to keep fighting till your last breath to become a champion. Champion Aa raha hai (Champion is coming)… on June 14."
The film, directed by Kabir Khan, is based on the extraordinary real-life story of a sportsman and his indomitable spirit. Kartik’s transformation for the role has been remarkable, with many praising his dedication to the character.
Kabir Khan shared that Kartik had to portray an international-level multi-disciplinary sportsperson and achieved a significant transformation, reducing his body fat from 39 per cent to 7 per cent without using steroids.
The first poster of Chandu Champion was shared by Kartik. It showed him running in a langot, with his body covered in sweat and mud. This gritty first look was revealed last year in August, depicting Kartik in an India blazer with an intense expression and minor injury marks on his face.
Chandu Champion tells the inspiring story of India’s first Paralympic gold medalist, Murlikant Petkar. The biographical drama chronicles Petkar’s life, focusing on his grievous injuries while serving in the Indian army and his remarkable journey to overcome them and achieve greatness in sports.
