With the support of just one state, the masterpiece has now made history at the Indian box office with its first day's advance booking.
Given that the historical action play is based on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's life, Maharashtra has seen the most response. The movie's gross ticket sales in the state totaled 9.23 crore, excluding the blocked seats.

Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, portrayed by Vicky Kaushal, vows to preserve the Maratha Samraj's splendor and defend it from the Delhi Sultanate. One of the most infamous Mughal emperors, Aurangzeb, is the antagonist and Akshaye Khanna portrays him.
