As the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival enters its first weekend, Saturday, April 13th promising a star-studded lineup at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Renowned artists like Tyler, the Creator, No Doubt, Blur, Jungle, The Drums, Sublime, and many others are set to grace the stages. Ahead of this, on Friday, the Festival kicked off with an eclectic array of performers. Lana Del Rey, the American songstress, took center stage as the main headliner, supported by an impressive lineup including Sabrina Carpenter, Suki Waterhouse, Deftones, Tinashe, Faye Webster, and several others across the event stages.
During the 2024 edition of the annual music and culture extravaganza, KQ Entertainment's 8-piece boy group Ateez took the stage at the Sahara tent on April 12 at 10:45 pm PST, marking their captivating Coachella debut. As the first K-pop boy group to seize this opportunity, Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho turned their scheduled setlist into an electrifying concert, leaving the audience yearning for more. Fortunately for fans, known as Atinys, the members hinted at a future musical venture following their exhilarating performance at Coachella.

Another K-pop sensation familiar with Coachella, Lalisa Manobal (also known as Blackpink's Lisa), surprised fans as she was seen at the venue, enjoying the festivities in casual clothing. In 2023, Lisa and her bandmates - Jisoo, Rose, and Jennie - made history by becoming the first Korean act to headline the show.

For the unversed, Lana Del Rey will headline the main stage on both Friday, April 12, and Friday, April 19. Other artists slated to perform on those days include Mexican Peso Pluma, who was previously invited by Becky G. Additionally, Lil Uzi Vert, Justice, Bizarrap, Young Miko, and Sabrina Carpenter, among many others, have been announced for the same days.
