Silence 2 Interview: The trailer for 'Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout,' starring Manoj Bajpayee and Prachi Desai, created a buzz among audience. Directed by Aban Bharucha Deohans, the film boasts an impressive ensemble cast featuring Sahil Vaid, Vaquar Shaikh, Dinker Sharma, and Parul Gulati. Promising an enthralling journey filled with suspense and enigma, the series is scheduled to premiere on ZEE5 starting April 16th. Now, in conversation with Jagran English, Manoj Bajpayee, Prachi Desai and director Aban Deohans talked about the plot of the movie, the characters, and the filming process.
They also talk about the themes explored in the film, such as mystery and intrigue, and how the story unfolds in the context of a dramatic shootout at a bar in Mumbai. Additionally, they share insights into their experiences working on the project and their excitement for the audience to see the film.
Talking about filming for Silence 2, Manoj Bajpayee said, "Our director, Aban, who is also the writer of the film, is deeply passionate about the murder mystery genre. It's truly enlightening to delve into this investigative drama, which relies on forensic findings, an aspect that none of us is particularly well-versed in. Aban has conducted thorough research and has immense knowledge about it, which she has meticulously incorporated into the script. Every detail you read on the script is backed by her expertise, and she's always there to educate us about things we may not know. Our task as actors is to understand each technical aspect and deliver our performances in a way that simplifies it for the audience."
Further, explaining about how Silence 2 being better and bigger, the director Aban added,"If the audience have invested in the characters and the genre, then "Silence 2" offers even more complexity. The characters are multifaceted, and the storyline has deeper layers with increased drama and investigation. So, for fans of this genre, I would expect that they would appreciate this second installment even more."

The Evolution of ACP Avinash Verma
The actor claimed that between "Silence 1" and "Silence 2," there's been a significant gap, allowing each character to undergo growth and development. "In this sequel, ACP Avinash Verma is portrayed as more comfortable with his team. Unlike in the first installment where they were relatively new to each other, now they are familiar with each other's personalities and work methods. This familiarity brings a sense of calmness to the team dynamics. However, despite this calmness, the intensity of the investigation remains just as high."
