Coldplay fans were left in despair after all three of the band’s Mumbai concerts sold out within hours of going on sale. On Sunday, September 22, tickets for the two initially announced concerts, set for January 18 and 19, 2025, went live on BookMyShow. However, the overwhelming demand led to the platform crashing shortly after the tickets were released. Once BookMyShow was revived, it took less than an hour for both shows to sell out.
To appease disappointed fans, Coldplay quickly announced a third concert on January 21, 2025. But in a matter of minutes, the tickets for the third show were also snapped up, leaving many fans without a chance to attend. Several heartbroken fans took to social media platform X to express their frustration, with some humorously lamenting that “nobody can fix us” after the tickets sold out so quickly.

Coldplay announced the release of their Infinity Tickets for the India tour, providing another opportunity for fans to attend the highly anticipated concerts. These tickets, designed to make the Music of the Spheres World Tour more accessible, will go on sale on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 12 PM IST on BookMyShow.
What Are Infinity Tickets?
Infinity Tickets are priced at the local currency equivalent of €20 (INR 2000) per ticket and are available in pairs. The unique aspect of these tickets is the surprise seating arrangement, which is only revealed on the day of the concert. Fans who secure these tickets will only discover their seat location when they pick them up at the box office. The seats could be anywhere in the venue, from floor sections to upper levels or side views.
