Coolie Update: Rajinikanth has an exciting lineup of films including Jailer 2 and Coolie. Both films are highly anticipated. Keeping up with the excitement, the makers of Coolie teased fans with a new promo video, featuring a new banger soundtrack and a 100-day countdown announcement.

The film is helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and is touted to be a high-octane action movie with Rajinikanth as lead. The film's production house Sun Pictures shared new glimpse of superstar and other cast. Along with the video, the post stated, “Arangam Adhirattume, Whistle Parakkattume! #CoolieIn100Days #Coolie worldwide from August 14th." This release date puts Coolie in direct competition with Ayan Mukherji's upcoming movie War 2 featuring Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani and Jr NTR, which is also scheduled to release on the same day.

The clip shows a sneak peek to the characters of Soubin Shahir, Upendra Rao, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Sathyaraj, before ending with Rajinikanth’s whistle. This latest update has sparked excitement among fans. One user wrote in the comment section, "Mass overloaded." Another comment read, "Cult classic Surya X Deva." Others inquired about Aamir Khan, asking, "Where is Aamir Khan?"

About Coolie Movie: The upcoming Tamil action thriller movie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures. Coolie marks Rajinikanth’s 171st movie as a lead actor. The film’s music has been composed by Aniruth Ravichander, while the cinematography is being handled by Girish Gangadharan. The story of Coolie delves into a man's relentless pursuit of retribution, shaped by his desire to correct past wrongs. Rajinikanth is reportedly going to play a character named Deva. Besides him, the movie also stars Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, and Reba Monica John in pivotal roles. Pooja Hegde is also expected to be part of this film. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan will have a cameo appearance in the movie.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is gearing up for Jailer 2. The movie is being helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
