Crew Box Office Collection Day 1: The heist comedy helmed by Rajesh A Krishnan and starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon took off its journey on a positive note. The movie amassed more than Rs 10 crore on its debut day at the domestic box office. The film centers on three diligent friends working as cabin crew members for Kohinoor Airlines. Their peaceful lives take a tumultuous turn when they become embroiled in a complex situation orchestrated by someone with ulterior motives. Both fans and critics have been offering favourable feedback for the movie.
Crew Box Office Report
On its opening day, Crew, featuring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon, saw impressive box office numbers, raking in Rs 10.28 crore India and a worldwide gross of 20.07 crore on its first day, signaling a strong start at the ticket counters. The Good Friday holiday has provided a boost to the business. Metropolitan areas like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Kolkata have contributed significantly to the first-day earnings. This achievement marks a historic milestone as 'Crew' becomes the highest-grossing female-led film on its opening day globally.
The film had an overall 26.34% Hindi occupancy on Friday.
With the positive word-of-mouth, coupled with no competition from new Bollywood releases, expectations are high for Rajesh Krishnan directorial to experience a significant increase in box office collections on Saturday, its second day in theaters.
Crew Budget
Reportedly, Crew has hit screens across 2000 theaters. The estimated budget for the film, including production and advertising costs, is around 60 Crores. It premiere in over 75 countries, spanning across more than 1100 locations.
