Actress Daisy Shah was recently spotted at an Iftar gathering. After the video surfaced online, some social media users trolled her, claiming that she criticises Diwali firecrackers but attends Iftar events. Responding to one such comment, Daisy clarified that being against firecrackers and attending an Iftar party are completely different matters. She also urged people not to spread negativity on social media or link religion with unrelated issues.

The controversy started when an X (formerly Twitter) user posted a video of actress Daisy Shah cooking jalebis at an Iftar party. Along with the video, the user accused the actress of being hypocritical in her opinions.
The post read: “Meet Daisy Shah > She has a problem with firecrackers,> But she visits Iftar parties and cooks there as well.” The user used a clown emoji to taunt the actress.
Daisy Shah’s Strong Response To Troll
Daisy Shah quickly reacted to the comment and clarified her position. She explained that comparing firecrackers with cooking food at a festival event makes no sense.
Replying to the user, she wrote, “Firecrackers and cooking food are completely different things. Good luck with spreading hate in the name of religion. I hope you get well soon.”

Daisy’s Stand On Firecrackers
In the past, Daisy Shah has openly spoken about the environmental harm caused by excessive firecracker use, especially during festivals like Diwali. She has supported eco-friendly celebrations and encouraged people to limit the use of firecrackers.
Many celebrities, including actor Dia Mirza, have also promoted similar environmentally responsible practices and urged fans to celebrate festivals in a greener way.
Daisy Shah’s Upcoming Work
On the work front, Daisy Shah was last seen in the web series Red Room. She is now preparing for her next project, a film directed by Palaash Muchhal, where she will be seen alongside actor Shreyas Talpade.
