Dalljiet Kaur Was Stopped By Nikhil Patel To Enter Her Kenya Residence: Report

Dalljiet Kaur has been fighting a long legal battle since she returned to India after being separated from her estranged husband Nikhil Patel. The actress got married to the Kenya-based businessman in March last year and shifted to the country after their wedding. After a few months of surviving from marital issues, Kaur came back to her own country. Since then she has been making headlines for her disputed marriage. Earlier this month, Patel claimed that they were not legally married as he wasn’t divorced from his first wife at the time of their wedding. Now, a shocking fact surfaced that when Dalljiet went to her Kenya residence she was not allowed to take back her stuff. Rather her expensive items were missing from the place where her estranged husband promised to keep her things. 

A source told Times Now, “The whole court case started in Kenya with Nikhil telling Dalljiet, 'you take your things or else I will give it to charity.' Hence, she had to file a case to safeguard herself and her things. That's how the proceedings in Kenya started. Nikhil's lawyers said 'apki shaadi toh hui nahin thi to hum sara samaan phek rahe hain.' She pleaded the Court that she was his wife so her things should not be thrown out like that.”
