De De Pyaar De 2: Actors Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh and R Madhavan are gearing up to start filming for De De Pyaar De 2, the much-awaited sequel to the 2019 hit De De Pyaar De. While Tabu will not be returning for this instalment, Devgn and Singh will reprise their original roles. According to Hindustan Times, the next shooting schedule will take place in Punjab, starting in mid-September and lasting 15-20 days.

The first phase of the shoot was completed in Mumbai, but Ajay had to pause work on the film to travel to the UK for Son of Sardaar 2. Now, the team is ready to move to Punjab, where they plan to capture family-oriented scenes in traditional settings. The production team is preparing to shoot mainly in bungalow and farm areas, highlighting the beauty of Punjab. “The scenes will be centred around family life, not romantic moments," said the source.

R Madhavan, who joins the cast for the sequel, will play Rakul Preet Singh’s father. His interactions with Ajay Devgn’s character, Ashish, will be humorous and a key element of the film’s story.
