Deepika Padukone is one of the most popular actresses in Bollywood and is currently busy with a bunch of upcoming projects. She turned a year older on January 5 and her fans extended their warm wishes to the 'Piku' star. She celebrated her birthday with Ranveer Singh and met the paparazzi, Sunilkumar Gol, at the airport, who brought a cake for her. Deepika gave a shoutout to him on Instagram and sent her best wishes as well.

Sharing the video on her Instagram story, Deepika wrote, "Thank you for this! I wish you all good health, peace of mind and prosperity in abundance always."

Deepika earlier shared a glimpse of her intimate birthday celebration with Ranveer Singh and posted a picture of a beautiful birthday cake. Sharing the picture of her birthday cake, Deepika Padukone wrote, "Thank you all for the birthday love!"

In an interview with Vogue Singapore, Deepika talked about starting her own family with Ranveer Singh. She said, "When I meet the people I have grown up with — my aunts, uncles, family friends — they always mention how I haven’t changed one bit. That says a lot about our upbringing... In this industry, it’s easy to get carried away by fame and money. But no one treats me like a celebrity at home. I am a daughter and a sister first. I don’t want that to change. My family keeps me grounded and Ranveer and I hope to inculcate the same values in our children.”

Talking about starting her own family, Deepika added, "Absolutely. Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family.”

On the work front, Deepika will be seen in 'Fighter' along with Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor. She will also star in Rohit Shetty's film 'Singham Again' alongside Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff and Kareena Kapoor. She is currently working in 'Project K' aka 'Kalki 2829 AD' with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan.
