Delayed OTT Movies In June 2024: Despite their widespread popularity, streaming platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+ Hotstar occasionally face delays in finalizing agreements to stream certain movies and web series. Here's a rundown of upcoming releases that have experienced delays but will soon be accessible on these platforms. Successful films such as Aadujeevitham, Maidaan, Zwigato, and others have performed impressively at the box office but are still awaiting their digital streaming debuts.
Aadujeevitham
OTT Release Date and Platform: June 2024
‘Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life’ is a 2024 Malayalam survival drama film by Blessy, based on Benyamin's 2008 novel. The story follows Najeeb, a Malayali labourer enslaved as a goatherd in Saudi Arabia. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jimmy Jean-Louis, and K. R. Gokul, with supporting roles by Amala Paul and Shobha Mohan. Initially banned in GCC countries except the UAE, the ban was later lifted everywhere except Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
Maidaan
OTT Release Date and Platform: Amazon Prime Video
‘Maidaan’ is an Indian Hindi-language biographical sports drama film, tells the story of Syed Abdul Rahim, a groundbreaking football coach in India from 1952 to 1962. Starring Ajay Devgn, Priyamani, and Gajraj Rao, it aims to shed light on Rahim's remarkable journey. The film hit the theatres on April 10, 2024, followed by a worldwide theatrical release on April 11, 2024, coinciding with Eid.
Zwigato
OTT Release Date and Platform: Netflix
Recent updates indicate that Netflix has secured the digital rights to the film ‘Zwigato’. Reports suggest that this movie is scheduled to make its debut on the streaming platform in June. The exact date for when it will become available for streaming is still under discussion.
Dhoomam
OTT Release Date and Platform: May 31 on YouTube
Almost a year after its theatrical release, Dhoomam is getting another chance to reach audiences on OTT. In honour of World No Tobacco Day on May 31, Hombale Films will premiere the film on its official YouTube channel, aiming to make it more accessible to a wider audience.
Ganpath
OTT Release Date and Platform: TBA
Ganapath: A Hero is Born is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language dystopian action film, written and directed by Vikas Bahl. Bahl also produced the film in collaboration with Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh. The movie features Tiger Shroff in a dual role, alongside Kriti Sanon, Amitabh Bachchan, Elli AvrRam, and Rahman. It is also expected to start streaming on OTT platforms in June. However, no official announcement has been made yet.
Agent

Agent is a 2023 Indian Telugu-language action spy film directed by Surender Reddy and written by Vakkantham Vamsi. The film stars Akhil Akkineni, Mammootty, Dino Morea, Sakshi Vaidya, and Vikramjeet Virk. Notably, it marks the Telugu cinema debut for both Vaidya and Morea. The film is expected to land on OTT in June.
