JE Entertainment Desk: 'Detective Pikachu' is making a smashing return on Nintendo Games and is set to release this year. After being missing in action for years, 'Detective Pikachu' followed the events of the first game and was converted into a film. Getting inspiration from the game, the film featured Ryan Reynolds.

Now, Tim Goodman and the makers of 'Detective Pikachu' are teaming up for another adventure, where Nintendo revealed that Detective Pikachu is all set for another mysterious adventure in the second installment and will follow the storyline of the first game.

The players will get to play as Tim Goodman and will be investigating to solve twisted cases with Pikachu in the role of a detective by their side. The game is set to release on October 6, 2023, as Pokemon will make a smashing return.

However, the makers have not unveiled lots of details about the plot of the game yet, but it will be completely different from the original one. The trailer of the game was released today where Mewtwo makes an appearance thus indicating that he will be the narrator of the game.

With the game, the depiction of Rhyme City will make a return and will also showcase a lot more creatures present that the original version, as Sword and Shield's Cinderance was also spotted in the game trailer. The new game promises to showcase more creatures and humans interacting with each other in a more fun manner.

'Detective Pikachu' was released in 2019 which followed the plotline of the game giving a new perspective to the film at the same time. The film had the story of Tim Goodman showing up in Rhyme City after finding out about the death of his father under mysterious circumstances, named Harry. However, he encounters his father talking to Pikachu, only to find out that he is the only human in the city who can talk to Pikachu.

Tim and Pikachu then start their adventure to uncover the death of his father, where the voice of Pikachu was given by Ryan Reynolds, whereas Justice Smith essayed the role of Tim.
