Detective Ujjwalan OTT Release: Dhyan Sreenivasan and Siju Wilson starrer Malayalam mystery comedy movie released in theatres on May 23. The film received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics. Detective Ujjwalan bombed at the box office, earning only Rs 6.43 crore in India and Rs 6.94 crore worldwide. After its box office failure, the film has been making buzz online for its streaming details. As per the latest reports, Netflix has bagged the OTT rights of Detective Ujjwalan. The official streaming date has not been announced yet.

As per a social media page named AB George, Netflix is set to make the announcement. It also claimed that Zee has acquired the satellite rights of Detective Ujjwalan. In the post, George wrote, “#DetectiveUjjwalan OTT Deal — Digital giant Netflix has bagged the post-theatrical digital rights! Netflix rarely picks up Malayalam films these days — but thanks to @W_Blockbusters ' previous collaborations and the film’s cinematic universe concept, this one made the cut. Satellite rights have been secured by Zee. Netflix official announcement is coming soon!”
