Deva Box Office Collection Day 4: Deva, the first Hindi movie directed by Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrews and starring Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde, opened in theaters on January 31. Despite a decline in box office receipts, the movie brought in about Rs 21.65 crore in India.
According to sacnilk, Deva's first Monday earnings in India were about Rs 2.50 crore net. On its first day, it earned Rs 5.5 crore, but over the weekend, it saw a sharp increase, earning Rs 6.4 crore and Rs 7.25 crore on Saturday and Sunday.

Total - Rs 21.65 crore
overall occupancy rate on Monday was 8.55%. According to social media posts from the production company Roy Kapur Films, the movie earned Rs 8.30 crore in India and Rs 3.45 crore abroad, bringing its day three total to Rs 11.75 crore and Rs 34.01 crore in total revenue.

About Deva Movie
The 2013 Malayalam movie Mumbai Police, which was also directed by Rosshan and starred Prithviraj Sukumaran, is adapted into Deva. To give the plot a fresh twist, the conclusion in particular was altered. Shahid Kapoor portrays ACP Dev Ambre in the movie, a guy who becomes memory-impaired while attempting to solve the death of his best friend. Pooja Hegde portrays Diya Sathaye, a reporter who is his sweetheart. Kubbra Sait and Pavail Gulati play important roles in the action movie.
Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor responded to comparisons between Deva and his blockbuster movie Kabir Singh at a press conference in Delhi with the media prior to the movie's premiere. Answering to Jagran English's question, he said, "It’s an aggressive character, but Deva is very Deva; there is no Kabir Singh in it. Deva is also not like any other character…"
