Deva OTT Release: Deva finally hit the theatres on January 31, 2025, but unfortunately, it received a lukewarm response from critics. While the film was praised for certain aspects, such as Shahid Kapoor's impressive performance, the exceptional cinematography and the crisp editing, it was largely criticised for its underwhelming screenplay and lackluster climax. Despite its promising premise and talented cast, Deva failed to impress critics and audiences alike, resulting in poor box-office returns. However, fans still await its OTT release. According to recent reports from Pinkvilla, Deva is likely to make its way to the popular streaming platform Netflix after completing its theatrical run. 

About the movie: Deva has been brought to life by acclaimed director Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur under the esteemed banner of Roy Kapur Films. The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, featuring Shahid Kapoor, Pooja Hegde, and Pavail Gulati in pivotal roles. Notably, Deva is an official remake of Andrrews' 2013 Malayalam blockbuster, Mumbai Police, with a distinct climax that sets it apart from the original. 

The project was formally announced in May 2023, marking the beginning of an exciting journey. Principal photography commenced in October 2023 in Mumbai and was wrapped up by September 2024, following a rigorous shooting schedule. The film's score has been crafted by Jakes Bejoy, who also composed one of the songs, while Vishal Mishra lent his musical expertise to two additional tracks.
