Devara Box Office Collection Day 4: The Telugu film, starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, has been receiving widespread acclaim across the country. Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara: Part 1 had an impressive opening, earning over Rs 80 crore in India across all languages on its debut day, with the global total exceeding Rs 100 crore. Despite the strong start, the film has faced a gradual decline in earnings since then. The cast also includes Shine Tom Chacko, Murali Sharma, and Prakash Raj in significant roles.

It quickly entered the Rs 200 crore club just two days after its release. On the third day, box office numbers saw a resurgence, sparking optimism that the film will soon hit the Rs 300 crore mark. The film's box office numbers over the weekend were lower than its impressive opening on Friday. While it still maintained decent figures on Monday, there was a noticeable drop.

Devara Box Office Report

Devara: Part 1 kicked off with Rs 82.5 crore, with Rs 73.25 crore from the Telugu version alone. On Sunday, it earned around Rs 39.9 crore across all languages, followed by a significant decline of approximately 68% on Monday, bringing in just Rs 12.5 crore. Of this, Rs 8 crore came from the Telugu version, while the Hindi version contributed about Rs 4 crore. After four days in theaters, the film's total collection in India stands at Rs 173.1 crore.

The breakdown is as follows: Rs 136.5 crore from Telugu, Rs 31 crore from Hindi, Rs 1.15 crore from Kannada, Rs 3.45 crore from Tamil, and Rs 1 crore from Malayalam. On Monday, September 30, 2024, the film had an overall Telugu occupancy rate of 26.91% and a Hindi occupancy rate of 12.73%.

About Devara

Set in a coastal region after Independence, Devara: Part 1 follows a man dedicated to protecting his village from malevolent forces. Originally slated for release on October 10, 2024, the makers decided to move the date up to avoid competition.

In this film, Jr NTR portrays dual roles as Devara and Varadha, with the narrative revolving around power struggles in a coastal area. The story kicks off with a police raid on villagers involved in looting ships, taking place in Ratnagiri near the Red Sea. Four neighboring villages compete annually in an event called Sangram to determine who will hold onto weapons for the year.

While the first 15 minutes may feel somewhat fragmented, they effectively lay the foundation for the story. The central conflict pits Devara against his former friend Bhairava (played by Saif Ali Khan), who, driven by greed, plots to smuggle illegal arms. Choosing to reject this path, Devara becomes a vigilante and partners with the Indian Coast Guard. Tensions escalate when Devara’s son, Vara (also portrayed by Jr NTR), is manipulated by Bhairava, leading to an intense confrontation between father and son as they unite to face a common adversary.
