Devara Part 1 Advance Bookings: The upcoming Telugu action drama film written and directed by Koratala Siva, features NTRama Rao Jr. in dual roles, alongside Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. Supporting cast members include Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, and Murali Sharma. The story revolves around Devara, a fearless man from the coast who embarks on a sea journey to protect his people while navigating family betrayal from his brother Bhaira. Meanwhile, his timid son Varada inherits the legacy.

Devara Part 1's Expected First Day Collection

While Devara: Part 1 is set to release worldwide on September 27, 2024, the film has already generated excitement, with advance bookings selling tickets worth ₹7.96 crore for the first day. In Andhra Pradesh alone, tickets across 1,187 shows sold for ₹5.19 crore, while Telangana recorded ₹11.58 lakh from 25 shows, and Karnataka contributed ₹2.36 crore from 451 shows, according to Sacnilk.

Film's advance booking sales reached ₹28.12 lakh in Tamil Nadu and ₹1.03 lakh in Uttarakhand. The film is expected to see an increase in bookings following a ticket price hike by the Chandrababu Naidu-led Andhra Pradesh government. Multiplexes can reportedly raise ticket prices by ₹135, upper-class tickets by ₹110, and lower-class tickets by ₹60.

Additionally, the government has approved six special screenings on the film's release day, starting at midnight, with five more shows scheduled for the following day. This boost in ticket prices and showtimes is set to enhance Devara's box office potential.

Advance Bookings in Hyderabad

In just 17 hours, Devara's first-day advance bookings in Hyderabad have surpassed an impressive ₹9 crore, with momentum continuing to grow as more regions prepare to open their booking windows. The film's appeal is especially strong in Vizag, where advance bookings have already reached ₹1.75 crore.

Combined, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have contributed over ₹12 crore, with 61% of capacity already filled. Bengaluru is also a key market, generating ₹2,96,35,010 and bringing Karnataka's total to ₹3,24,23,410, with 36% of seats reserved.

The trailer of the film has received widespread acclaim from both audiences and critics, generating significant excitement about the movie. The latest trailer showcases Jr NTR in thrilling, high-octane action sequences and highlights the fatalities occurring in the coastal region where the story is set. This action saga unfolds in a coastal community struggling with daily hardships, portraying the male lead as a savior for the marginalised and a source of fear for wrongdoers.
