Dhanush is one of the most popular and talented actors in the Indian film industry and has given several blockbuster movies. He is all set to star in 'Raayan', which will also be directed by him and the movie has created a lot of excitement among the audience ever since its announcement. The actor has now unveiled a new poster of 'Raayan' and it has established that he will go against SJ Suryah.

Sharing the new poster, Sun Pictures wrote, "Get ready to witness this epic face-off. #Raayan in cinemas from July 26."

Raayan Release Date: 

'Raayan' will release in theatres on July 26. 

The movie also stars Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Aranthangi Nisha in pivotal roles. 'Raayan' was initially announced as 'D50', revealing that it will be Dhanush's 50th family.

On the work front, Dhanush was last seen in 'Captain Miller' alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Priyanka Mohan, Aditi Balan, Edward Sonnenblick and John Kokken.

He will be seen in 'Kubera' along with Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. Welcoming Nagarjuna, the producers Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao issued an official statement and wrote, "We needed a powerhouse for our pan-India project with Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula, and who better than our very own 'King'. Wishing #KingNagarjuna a very happy birthday! We are extremely excited to work with you once again! Can't wait to get this show on the road!"

He will next star in Ilaiyaraaja's biopic and will essay the role of music maestro. The official title of the film has not been revealed yet and Dhanush will reportedly start working on the biopic in 2024.
