Amid growing anticipation, here's how Lyari residents in Pakistan reacted to Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar sequel.

Dhurandhar 2 global hype is real and this new video from Lyari is proof. "India walon ne film bana li hai, humse to puchte," someone remarked, adding, "Hum unko dikhaate Lyari ki galiyaan. Rehman Dakait ka bhi bataate." Another user can be heard saying, "Lyari aisa nahi hai jaisa filmon meei dikhate ho." Many welcomed Ranveer Singh to Lyari in the video, saying "Welcome Ranveer, Gully Boy." while others hailed Sanjay Dutt as SP Chaudhary Aslam.

The video from Lyari swiftly gained popularity on Instagram, X, and TikTok, where numerous viewers emphasized how movies still bring people together from all over the world. Bollywood actors like Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Dutt continue to have a sizable fan base among Pakistani audiences despite political issues that frequently restrict official film releases between India and Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar's paid previews and advance bookings have been performing remarkably well. The movie is expected to break numerous box office records set by earlier blockbusters, according to trade experts and the exhibition business. More than 4 lakh tickets have been sold for the film's paid previews, which begin on Wednesday at 5.30 PM, with just two days till its release.

Ranveer Singh will play the twin roles of Jaskirat and Hamza in the movie. Arjun Rampal plays ISI Major Iqbal, Sanjay Dutt plays SP Chaudhary Aslam, and R Madhavan reappears as strategist Ajay Sanyal. In addition to exploring his beginnings as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, Dhurandhar 2 will trace the ascent of Ranveer's character, Hamza Ali Mazari, in the Karachi underworld and follow the path of the young man who eventually turns into a clandestine agent.

Dhurandhar 2 will be releasing in five languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. On March 19, the movie, which was written by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, will open in theaters across the globe.
