The trailer launch event for the upcoming thriller Tumko Meri Kasam has become the talk of the town, not just for the film but for an unexpected moment between veteran actors Anupam Kher and Mahesh Bhatt. A video from the event has gone viral, showing Anupam Kher telling Mahesh Bhatt to leave the stage, sparking discussions across social media.
The Tumko Meri Kasam trailer launch was held in Mumbai, attended by the film's entire cast and crew. Anupam Kher, who plays a pivotal role in the film, was present alongside other lead actors, including Adah Sharma and Ishwak Singh. Mahesh Bhatt, who is associated with the film as a presenter, was also on stage.

During an event, Kher suddenly said, "You may leave now," leaving Bhatt visibly angry! He walked off the stage in silence, but his expression said it all!

In the now-viral video, Anupam Kher can be heard saying, "You should leave now," addressing Mahesh Bhatt. Following this, Bhatt steps down from the stage. When asked by the media why he was leaving, he responded, "I was told to go."
The video has triggered mixed reactions online. Some netizens criticized Anupam Kher, stating that he shouldn’t have spoken to Mahesh Bhatt in such a manner. Others speculated that Bhatt appeared unwell, and Kher may have been reminding him to take care of his health.

Adding to the speculation, Mahesh Bhatt’s reaction also caught attention. Reports suggest that he seemed visibly upset and even refused Kher’s gesture of support when stepping down from the stage.
Directed by Vikram Bhatt, Tumko Meri Kasam is inspired by the life of Dr. Ajay Murdia and revolves around themes of IVF treatment and courtroom drama. The film features Anupam Kher in a significant role, along with Adah Sharma, Ishwak Singh, and Esha Deol. Produced by Indira Entertainment LLP, the movie is set to release in theatres on March 21, 2025.
