The actress shared her journey from Toronto to Hyderabad, catching the attention of netizens.

On Friday, Priyanka Chopra shared a video on her Instagram handle, documenting her flight from Toronto to Dubai and then to Hyderabad. She accompanied the video with an Om emoji and used the track Roar of RRR in the background. Fans quickly interpreted this as a hint of her involvement in SS Rajamouli's upcoming film. One fan commented, "Can't wait to see you alongside Mahesh Babu," while another wrote, "Love how you have hinted #SSMB29 with the background music." A third added, "Queen for a Telugu movie."

Reports suggest Priyanka Chopra has been confirmed as the female lead opposite Mahesh Babu, marking her return to Indian cinema after nearly six years. Directed by SS Rajamouli, SSMB29 is expected to be an action-adventure film set on massive scale. The movie is reportedly planned as a two-part saga, with releases slated for 2027 and 2029. Earlier this month, the makers officially launched the film with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad.
According to Pinkvilla, an insider revealed, “The film is in its final stages of writing and is set to go on floors in April 2025. SS Rajamouli was looking for a female lead with a global presence, and Priyanka fit the bill perfectly. Over the past six months, Rajamouli and Priyanka have had multiple meetings, and their visions aligned.” While an official announcement regarding Priyanka’s involvement is yet to be made, fans eagerly await confirmation of her role in the project.
