Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar's collaboration has been making waves ever since they announced their upcoming movie Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. Amid the buzz, Kartik broke his silence on teaming up with Karan Johar after reports of a fallout between the two while working on Dostana 2. The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 actor expressed his hope that this film would happen.
In a conversation with The Indian Express, Kartik Aaryan shared his thoughts on the excitement surrounding his collaboration with Karan Johar. He said, “Abhi main inke sath film kar raha hu. And hum sath mein kar rahe hain yeh film and I hope yeh film toh hogi. Yeh film main puri tarah karunga and voh bhi puri tarah karenge yeh film. (Now I am doing a film with him. We are doing it together and I hope it happens. I will do this film and he will do it too.)”
Kartik Aaryan On Relationship With Karan Johar
At a Screen Live event in Mumbai, the host showed Kartik a fun picture of him with Karan, where the filmmaker can be seen pulling the actor by his ear. Kartik responded, “I think yeh love and hate relationship hai… Bahut ache yeh photo represent karti hai (I think this is a love and hate relationship. This photo represents the same).”
Recalling the details of the photo, Kartik revealed that it was taken before they started working on their first film (Dostana 2). “Yeh moment tab ka hai jab hum logo ne pehli film, jo humari honi thi kabhi, voh sign ki thi. Toh tab ka moment hai. I think he knew ki main… photo pehle se le li thi (This was the moment when we signed our first film, which was supposed to happen. It was from that time. I think he knew that I… so he took the picture beforehand.)”

About Movie Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri
The rom-com Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri is being directed by Sameer Vidwans, who previously worked with Kartik Aaryan on Satya Prem Ki Katha. Karan Johar is producing the film under his Dharma Productions banner along with Namah Pictures. The movie starring Kartik Aaryan in lead, is set to release in theaters in 2026.
