Diljit Dosanjh India Tour: In a surprising turn of events, Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh announced his second concert in Delhi. Not only this, the Lover crooner also announced his concerts in Mumbai and Jaipur. Diljit took to his Instagram account and wrote, “SURPRISE 🇮🇳 DELHI DAY 2 Stadium - JAIPUR & MUMBAI New Shows Added Tickets Info Coming SOON. DIL-LUMINATI TOUR Year 24.”
Dil-Luminati Tour, which is all set to commence from October 26 with the first concert being held in Delhi, caused chaos nationwide as tickets sold out in all cities within minutes of release, sparking both excitement and criticism over prices.
Diljit Dosanjh recently held a concert in Paris which turned out to be one of the most successful ones. Unfortunately, the Punjabi singer was hit by a cell phone while performing on the stage. What caught everybody’s attention was Dosanjh’s heartfelt gesture towards the man. Rather than getting angry, Diljit Dosanjh gifted his jacket and gave him a life lesson. Watch the viral video here:
Diljit Dosanjh's highly anticipated Dil-Luminati concert in India has run into controversy. The pre-sale tickets that went live on September 12 were snapped up in mere minutes, leaving many fans frustrated and disappointed. At the centre of the controversy is a law student from Delhi, Riddhima Kapoor, who sent a legal notice to the concert's organisers after failing to secure a ticket.
Kapoor claimed that the organisers had announced the ticket window would open at 1 PM on September 12, but the passes became available a minute earlier, at 12:59 PM, allowing hundreds of fans to book tickets within minutes. This early release left many fans, including Kapoor, without tickets as the window closed prematurely.
The legal notice alleges that the organisers engaged in unfair practices during the ticket sale, potentially manipulating and scalping tickets, which is a clear violation of consumer rights and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Kapoor specifically obtained an HDFC Credit Card to access early-bird tickets but was still unable to purchase one due to the abrupt closure of the booking window.
