Diljit Dosanjh’s versatility is not unknown to anyone anymore now, the actor-singer has been gaining popularity on global platforms too. The singer, who is currently busy with his International concerts, has been making headlines for his blockbuster song Do You Know. As per reports, his song could feature in the upcoming Akshay Kumar movie Khel Khel Mein. The report suggests that the vibe of the song matches with the film’s concept. It has been also said that the shoot of the song will be completed on 4th August and 5th August. The entire cast of the film Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal and Aditya Seal going to be featured in the music video. 

A source told Hindustan Times, “The vibe of the song matches the film, which is an urban comedy. Diljit’s song continues to be popular, so the producers felt it will connect with the listeners all over again and also create buzz.”

“It’s all very hush-hush. The video will be shot this week, on August 4 and 5. The entire cast – Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal and Aditya Seal – will be seen in the video. Whether Diljit will make an appearance is yet to be decided,” the source added. 

Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein will also feature Fardeen Khan, Madhumalti Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurana, Arjun Panchal, Johnny Lever and Omi Vaidya in significant roles. It is scheduled to be released in theatres on 15th August. 

On the other hand, Diljit’s solo songs in Bollywood movies have topped the music charts. His songs like Naina and Choli Ke Peeche became major hits. He then sang and featured in the Bhairava Anthem alongside Prabhas in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD. Not only his songs but also his latest releases such as Amar Singh Chamkila, Jatt and Juliet were also hugely successful. Both the movies became popular and his performances were highly appreciated.
