Vicky Kaushal's historical drama Chhaava is receiving rave reviews and performing well at the box office. However, Rashmika Mandanna's portrayal of Maharani Yesubai Bhonsale has sparked mixed reactions. In support, co-star Divya Dutta praised Mandanna as a "remarkable talent" who consistently delivers successful films.

In a conversation with Today Digital, Dutta said, “Let’s not forget that she has delivered several hits, which clearly means she has something that resonates with the audience.” She further added, “Her track record speaks volumes. You can’t connect with audiences time and again unless you have something truly special.”
Divya Dutta continued, “What truly matters is the film’s success. Chhaava has emerged as one of the year’s biggest blockbusters, and that’s worth celebrating.”
About Chhaava: Chhaava, a 2025 Indian Hindi-language historical action film, tells the story of Sambhaji, the second Maratha Empire ruler, played by Vicky Kaushal. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna. Released on February 14, 2025, Chhaava has grossed ₹288.42 crore, becoming the highest-grossing Indian and Hindi film of 2025.
