Television actor Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya met with an accident, as disclosed by her publicist on Instagram to her and her husband Vivek Dahiya’s followers. While the PR team has refrained from sharing many specifics, they have mentioned that Divyanka is currently receiving medical attention. Soon, Vivek posted a picture of Divyanka's X-ray, revealing that she suffered a fractured arm in the accident and is scheduled for surgery today, April 19. Following the incident, Vivek cancelled his planned live session on Instagram for today to support her during this time.

On April 18, Vivek posted an Instagram story stating, "Divyanka mam has fractured two bones in her arm and will undergo surgery tomorrow. She's in good hands, as updated."

Vivek Cancels His Live

Taking to its official Instagram handle, his PR team shared, "We’re sorry to announce that Vivek’s live session scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed till further notice. Divyanka had an accident a few hours back and is now under medical care. Vivek is with her as she recovers. We thank you for your understanding and support. And join us in wishing Divyanka a speedy recovery. Vivek is eager to connect with all of you soon."

Previously, Divyanka underwent surgery for two ligament tears in August 2023. She shared a video documenting her journey from undergoing the surgery to bouncing back in a nutshell, accompanied by a caption stating, "The moment I decided to get 2 of my very old complete ligaments tear corrected, I started strengthening my body for the upcoming trauma and lull by working out in a focused manner. I planned my physio carefully so that I can bounce back timely. @vivekdahiya was a sweetheart, not letting my smile fade even for a moment. My take away, if you don’t take something to be a low point, it won’t be! You may fall but plan well to bounce back."

On the professional front, Divyanka Tripathi currently portrays Inspector Parvati Sehgal in 'Adrishyam', where she is joined by Eijaz Khan in the role of Ravi Verma.
